Mule Deer

Mule deer being packed out on a mule

The High Buck hunt in mid-September takes place in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area and is known for its challenging terrain and big bucks. In October, you switch gears muzzleloader and modern firearm seasons, which take place in both the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area and the Teanaway, both of which are known for quality deer. All of your Mule Deer hunts in our area have a 3 point minimum.

Another quality elk being packed out by mule.

Rocky Mountain Elk

Looking for a great place to hunt elk? Look no further than Cle Elum! The area is home to Rocky Mountain Elk, which were introduced in the 1920's from the Yellowstone herd in Wyoming. We guide in the Peaches Ridge and Observatory Units, which are special draw hunts for branch antlered bulls. Each of these units has a specific hunt number associated with the weapon used; please call if you have questions on what to put in for.  We encourage you to enter the draws and build your preference points, giving us a call when you draw that coveted tag! Our experienced guides are ready to help make your hunt a success.
